It's best to book at least 4 – 8 weeks prior to your moving date, however we are very flexible and can help with up to 24 hours notice. The more notice – the better the chance of securing your preferred date and time.

Yes. The Van That Can require an inventory list in order to quote your move. Having an inventory list will help us calculate the van space needed for your move and provide you with the most accurate quotes. This is found on our website.

Once you have completed a booking form a team member will contact you as soon as possible but within 2 business days.

With any 1 man job it is important to consider the size of the items being delivered. For any oversized items there MUST be someone able-bodied that can comfortable assist. Although the 2 men rate is higher, it is often more cost effective as 2 men work faster.

It is company policy that we have no hidden charges, which is why we charge the hourly flat rate. To prevent any surprises it is best to provide as much information as possible, this allows us to be more accurate with the pricing. If you provide a full list of items and inform us of all your access points such as stairs or driveway difficulty then we will be able to give you an accurate price.

A fee for travel between depot/starting point to get to your house, or the distance back to their depot/starting point at the end of the move is included in the price of your job.

You will need to make sure the boxes are new and durable to avoid any damages during transit.

The Van That Can has Transit and Public Liability Insurance, but this is our policy, not yours. The Van That Can recommends all customers take out their own insurance policy. This is the only way to have complete peace of mind that your belongings are covered.
